It is suggested that for individuals new to wrap carriers, the length of wrap used should be long enough to perform all carries which include those carries listed, plus other positions including crossed with pouch (forward wrap-cross carry), and crossed back pack (back wrap-cross carry).

Generally, most women can tie everything with a 4.10 m or 4.60 m. For men wearing babies, a size 4.60 m or 5.20 m works best. It is best to get the most comfortable size for the main babywearer since other individuals still have plenty of position options.
